Bjorn wins Qatar Masters

Denmark’s Thomas Bjorn continued his consistent form to capture the Qatar Masters by four shots from Spain’s Alvaro Quiros at the Doha Golf Club on Sunday. Bjorn, who turns 40 later this month, posted a 69 in the final round for a total of 14-under-par 274 to gain his 11th European Tour title. It was his second win in the Middle Eastern desert, after his sensational victory over Tiger Woods at the Dubai Desert Classic in 2001. Al Jazeera’s Joanna Gasiorowska reports from Doha.
