The Muslim Brotherhood joined talks with Omar Suleiman, the newly appointed Egyptian vice-president, on Sunday, but said that it had little trust in the government following through on promised reforms. Meanwhile, over a million protesters flooded Cairo’s Tahrir Square, observing a “Day of the Marytrs”, with both Muslims and Christians offering prayers for those who have died since protests began on January 25.
