There were quite a few regrettable things we did, thought, adored and listened to when we were 13. We liked Blink-182 (please don’t tell anyone), had bright red hair (decline to comment) and painted our nails black every day (yikes). However, we can at least proudly state that we were reading good literature (“Franny and Zooey,” the “Harry Potter” series and “Julius Caesar”). On Twitter right now, #WhenIWas13 is trending in New York. Random House decided to give it a bookish twist and created #ReadingWhenIWas13. They tweeted, “Tell us your favorite book at age 13.” We rounded up some of our favorites. What was YOUR favorite book when you were 13? Let us know in the comments!
