The United States is now warning the government of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, to make the reforms Egyptians are calling for. The Obama administration is becoming increasingly blunt in their messages to Mubarak, but insist they are not looking to influence events in Egypt. On Wednesday, US President Barack Obama spoke to Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah about the crisis. He stressed the importance of a meaningful and lasting transition of power in Egypt.
