UN says Iran has executed at least 66 this year
GENEVA – Iran has executed at least 66 people this year, an alarming surge that has defied outside pressure, the U.N.’s top human rights official said Wednesday. Navi Pillay, the U.N.’s high commissioner for human rights, said she based her tally on a review of Iranian press reports.
