UK’s Hague in first visit to Russia for talks

MOSCOW – Britain’s foreign secretary says Moscow is an important partner in tackling global challenges. AC = 1234 –> William Hague spoke during his first visit to Moscow, which is being closely watched for signs of improvement in the long-strained ties between the two countries. Anglo-Russian relations have been tense amid controversy over issues including the fatal poisoning of former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko in London in 2006 and the enforced exile of executives in British oil company BP PLC’s Russian joint venture.
