Tax Cut Extension Survives House Vote, Boehner’s Ire
According to a clearly disapproving Rep. John Boehner, the House of Representatives’ vote Thursday in favor of keeping tax cuts for people earning less than $250,000 a year was tantamount to “chicken crap.” However, that didn’t affect the outcome, with most House Democrats joining forces to make the most of their majority while it lasts.
