Doing your research and checking the small print is always the best advice.) – The Spring Fever Reliever package at Gaylord National resort at National Harbor starts at $179 per night and you get the second room for the kids for 50 percent off. The Bring on the Spring package is $209 per night and includes a $100 resort credit. Rates do not include taxes or resort fee. Both offers are available through April 30. – Colonial Williamsburg also has two spring travel deals. The Spring Bounce package includes a three-day, two-night stay at the Williamsburg Woodlands hotel starting at $305 per night for a family of four. Also includes 3-in-1 tickets for unlimited general admission to Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. Offer is available for stays March 18-June 16. Minimum stay of two nights. The Spring Stories package includes a room at the Williamsburg Lodge, admission tickets, breakfast and a $100 activities card. The package is based on a three-day, two-night stay and starts at $99 per person, per night. Pricing for both packages is based on a Sunday-Wednesday arrival. – Keswick Hall , the countryside resort near Charlottesville, Va., offers an Enhanced Bed and Breakfast package that includes complimentary upgrade, full daily English breakfast for two and a wine tasting for two, starting at $265 per room, per night, a savings of about $80 per night. Available through April 30. – The Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels has a Winter Wonderland package – someone needs to tell them it’s almost spring – available Sundays through Thursdays until March 31. Package includes $45 breakfast voucher for two, internet access and newspaper. The rate is $235 per room, per night, basedon double occupancy. Guests who book early will receive a $100 resort credit that can be applied to spa services and food and beverages. – The Comsberry Inn in Oxford is taking 50 percent off rooms (about $100) through March 31. Suites start at $200 and rooms at $125. – The Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va. is offering a two-night Spring Fever family package including lodging, unlimited admission to Busch Gardens, shuttle service to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg, breakfast buffet two mornings and unlimited play on the resort’s nine-hole par-three Bray Links golf course.
