Former NBA player Samaki Walker tried to eat eight grams of marijuana before getting arrested in Arizona at a routine traffic stop last Thursday, WTOV9 reports. According to the Las Vegas Journal-Review, about 10 grams of marijuana was seized from Walker’s vehicle, along with some prescription drugs and eight bottles of liquid steroids. The Dallas Mavericks selected Walker with the ninth overall pick in the 1996 draft. He also played for the Los Angeles Lakers, San Antonio Spurs, Washington Wizards, Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers. In 2010, Walker signed with a team in Syria’s top-level D1 league.
