Russell Armstrong’s Business Associate Alan Schram Found Dead Day After "Housewives" Husband’s Suicide

The untimely death of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Taylor Armstrong’s husband, Russell Armstrong wasn’t the only tragedy to hit the family earlier this month. The day after Armstrong was found dead, having committed suicide by hanging, his friend and business colleague, Alan Schram, was found dead, according to Business Insider. Schram’s body was discovered on August 16 in a vehicle in L.A. with a fatal gunshot wound to the head — the shot was reportedly self-inflicted, TMZ reports. But death by suicide wasn’t the only thing the men had in common. Both Armstrong and Schram neglected to leave suicide notes. They both were also reportedly members of a “high-net-worth investors” club called Tiger 21, according to Business Insider. Although the deaths have more than a few similarities, it has not yet been determined if the two suicides are related. Schram was also a contributing blogger to The Huffington Post and in his blogger bio shared that he was the managing partner of the Los Angeles-based hedge fund, Wellcap Partners and was also an officer in the Israeli Air Force as well as a Gulf War veteran. Many have speculated that Armstrong’s suicide may have had something to do with his rocky financial situation, recent divorce filing or negative representation on his estranged wife’s “Housewives” reality show, but insights into Schram’s suicide are a bit murkier. Although, Schram may have also been embroiled in a financial scandal regarding the accuracy of his alleged academic background. Click over to Business Insider to get the full story on Schram’s misleading academic background that may have had an impact on his untimely death.
