Pro- and Anti- Assad Demos, Syrian Forces Poised
Supporters of Syrian President Bashar Assad held up a giant flag at a demonstration in Damascus, while refugees in border camps continued to protest his rule. There were reports Syrian forces were poised for a crackdown in two more towns. (June 15)
