Preparations for Beatification of a Pope

Final preparations were under way at the Vatican today for the beatification of Pope John Paul II on May 1. Pope Benedict XVI will beatify John Paul in St. Peter’s Square, bestowing one of the church’s greatest honors. (April 28)
