Pandas Stay in Washington With New Deal
Two giant pandas at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo in Washington will stay for another five years, part of an agreement between the US and China. Zoo officials hope Mei Xiang and Tian Tian will successfully mate. (Jan. 20)
