Palestinians Hail Landmark Reconciliation Pact

Palestinian factions Fatah and Hamas were hailing a reconciliation pact they signed Wednesday. Israel has denounced it and the international community issued a warning, but Palestinians celebrated by dancing in the streets. (May 4)
