Open Tread: If the Government Shut Down, How Could We Tell?

That's the question posted by a recent video, embedded below the break, released by Heritage Action. With an “Obama shutdown” looming, Heritage wonders – only a bit facetiously – whether there would be much of a difference, given that the White House has failed to deal with any of the major problems facing the nation in the last two-plus years. Thoughts?
