NW Pakistan Car Bomb Kills 9, Wounds 20
A car bomb blast on the outskirts of the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar has left nine dead and at least 20 wounded. A recent rash of attacks has challenged police claims of progress in controlling Islamic militants in the area. (Feb. 2)
