NC Gov Nearly Moved to Tears by Tornado Damage
North Carolina Gov. Beverly Perdue says her tour of tornado-ravaged portions of her state nearly brought her to tears. At least 21 people were killed and hundreds of homes were damaged when Saturday’s tornadoes touched down across the state. (April 17)
