McCain Doesn’t Budge on ‘DADT’ Repeal
How is it that Senator John McCain can look at the same Pentagon study about repealing “don’t ask, don’t tell” that Defense Secretary Robert Gates and other military colleagues did and reach such a strikingly different conclusion about how to proceed? Well, for starters, it would appear that McCain prioritized certain aspects of the report over others, according to The New York Times, while supporters of lifting the ban on GLBT troops serving openly looked at the bigger picture.
