The springs in the beds of my new novel The Uncoupling stay squeakless when a spell falls upon the women of a suburban town during a high school production of “Lysistrata.” (I know–you’re saying to yourself, “Hey, wasn’t that the plot of the latest James Patterson?”) Here are ten other beds that don’t include a good night’s sleep.
