Libyan Rebels’ Deadline Over Gadhafi’s Hometown
Libyan rebels said they were negotiating with forces loyal to Moammar Gadhafi in Sirte, although the de-facto rebel leader set a Saturday deadline. Another official said rebels know of Gadhafi’s whereabouts, although he’s yet to be seen. (Aug. 30)
