While much of the mainstream media focuses on his death and the individual who supposedly killed Rev. King, it is important to remember that he was participating in a predominantly black sanitation workers strike in Memphis for union recognition. This labor struggle was an ongoing revolution demanding fair wages, racial, social and economic equality, and, of course, full-employment or the right to work with dignity. Like Rev.
