During the fashion extravaganza that was the royal couple’s North America tour, the Duchess of Cambridge gave us a few sartorial surprises and many more perfectly lovely yet predictable outfits. What did we learn about the former Kate Middleton from her journey west? For one, we were intrigued by Kate’s newfound propensity for theme-dressing. In Canada, a diamond maple leaf brooch (borrowed from the Queen) made several appearances and for Canada Day she recreated the country’ flag with a white dress and a red maple leaf hat. At the rodeo the Duchess and hubby Prince William played the part with ten-gallon hats, cowboy boots and cowboy shirts. Impressive attention to detail, Catherine. Another finding: how loyal Kate is to her fave brands. She wore designers Issa, Anya Hindmarch, Catherine Walker, Jenny Packham, Erdem and Alexander McQueen two times each and she stepped out in LK Bennett a whopping nine times (at this point, LK Bennett should just send her a check). Lastly, we were reminded yet again of why we like this royal so much: Catherine loves a good wardrobe repeat. She wore her Sebago boat shoes twice, her J. Brands at least three times, black LK Bennett wedges twice and those nude LK Bennett pumps a minimum of five times. Below, behold the exhaustive round-up of every single outfit Catherine wore on her royal tour. WATCH:
