Hurricane Irene Nixes MLK Memorial Dedication

Hurricane Irene has dashed the hopes of organizers that wanted to dedicate the new Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial on the 48th anniversary of King’s “I Have a Dream” speech. The dedication has been postponed indefinitely. (Aug. 26)
