Most of us remember that time in our childhood when we picked up a book that we just couldn’t put down. Our imaginations were such that it transported us to magical places, and we, too, were solving mysteries with Lewis Barnavelt, or being swept up in a tornado and deposited in Oz. Though we may have both feet on the ground now, we still remain nostalgic about those books we read as kids that changed the way we saw the world. This week, we asked Huffpost readers on Facebook to tell us what book from their childhood they have never been able to forget. Did we forget one of your childhood favorites?
