First Person: Calif. Zoo Giraffe’s Surprise Baby
Zoo keepers at the Santa Barbara Zoo were shocked to see a giraffe calf with the adults because they didn’t know one of them was pregnant. “Daniel” was born two weeks ago at the zoo and was five feet nine inches and weighed 106 pounds. (Jan. 26)
