Dow Drops Below 12K, S&P Loses Year’s Gains

The broader stock market is now in its longest losing streak in two years. The Dow Jones industrial average is below 12000 and the Standard & Poor’s 500 index lost nearly all of its gains for the year. (Aug. 2)
