Jim DeMint (R-SC) said Sunday that it was going to be “hard” to watch President Barack Obama give a speech on job creation to a joint session of Congress, calling it “pandering.” “I’m so tired of his speeches, it’s going to be hard for me to watch,” the South Carolina senator told CNN’s Candy Crowley. “I’m, frankly, very tired of speeches,” DeMint repeated on ABC. “I don’t want to be disrespectful to the president… I don’t think the president is going to come out with things that are really going to create jobs.
