Comcast, NBCU Fund Gay-Left Dinner With Obama

Penny Starr at CNSNews.com reports President Obama will be speaking Saturday night at the annual fundraising gala of the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest gay-left advocacy group. She added they’re pushing for grade schools to be “inclusive” about the LGBT gospel: “Curriculum must be LGBT inclusive starting in elementary school for the following reasons,” including “Students learn more effectively when they see themselves reflected in the curriculum” and “Pressure to conform to gender roles can limit social and academic development.” A cursory look at the financial backers of this left-wing banquet of political correctness would find several media giants. Google is funding the “after party.” Comcast – the owners of NBC Universal – are a “gold” sponsor, and NBC Universal itself is a “silver” sponsor. Comcast and NBC Universal were also financial supporters of the Equality Forum , an annual LGBT advocacy event in Philadelphia, as were NBC 10 Philadelphia and CBS Radio. Obama press secretary Jay Carney was pressed with the hopes of the gay leftists that Obama would further “evolve” on “gay marriage” in his remarks: BLOOMBERG NEWS: The president is expected to speak at the Human Rights Campaign dinner over the weekend, and the last time we checked in, his views on gay marriage were evolving. I wonder whether we’ll get an update on that evolution at the dinner or whether DADT will be essentially the only newsworthy topic of conversation. JAY CARNEY:
