Citizens Against Religious Bigotry (CARB) Launch Video Response, Petition Against NBC’s Omission of ‘Under God’ From Pledge

The Media Research Center today announced a new petition launched by the Citizens Against Religious Bigotry ( CARB ) coalition, holding NBC accountable for omitting “under God” from its broadcast of the Pledge of Allegiance in the opening coverage of the U.S. Open on June 20. CARB has created a video (embedded below the page break) that encourages viewers to sign a petition which states, in part: “I demand that NBC take immediate action by terminating the employees who used a Sunday sports broadcast to insult people of faith.” You can also access the video here: http://www.mrctv.org/videos/ pledge-sign-petition.
