SEOUL/TOKYO – China and its ally North Korea reached a consensus on the Korean peninsula crisis after ‘candid’ talks in Pyongyang between Beijing’s top diplomat and North Korean leader Kim Jong-il, Chinese state media reported. State Councilor Dai Bingguo met the isolated North’s ailing leader in the capital Pyongyang for talks and “the two sides reached consensus on bilateral relations and the situation on the Korean Peninsula after candid and in-depth talks,” Xinhua news agency said….
