KABUL, Afghanistan — A Taliban suicide bomber posing as an army recruit blew himself up in the midst of a crowd outside a Afghanistan military recruiting center Monday in the northern city of Kunduz, killing at least 36 people including five children, the authorities there said. It was the fourth suicide bombing in Kunduz Province since February and reaffirmed the area as a major focus of Taliban activity in recent months.
