At Least 3 Dead in Welsh Mining Accident
At least 3 Welsh miners have died despite a round-the-clock operation to try and save them, after they were trapped in a colliery accident. Rescue work was continuing but hopes were fading that crews would find a 4th man still alive. (Sept. 16)
