To say we’re expecting big things from HP and Palm at tomorrow’s webOS “Think Beyond” event would be a huge understatement: not only has the company strongly hinted at a family of new mobile products, it’s even playfully called us out for leaking the Topaz tablet as seen in the invite above, and released a very intriguing teaser video . Update: Palm’s website has been taken over by a countdown and the teaser video, and “Think Ahead” has been added as a tagline — perhaps hinting at a tease of future products? We’ll find out soon enough. New HTC device leaked in recent YouTube video [video]

HTC the Taiwanese manufacturer, posted a video today on its YouTube channel displaying a brand new device. We’re not sure what the device is or if this was a leak, but according to a recent post from Engadget, they mention their tipster suggested that it could be the Wildfire 2. Rumsfeld reveals pre-war Iraq strike plan

WASHINGTON – Former Pentagon chief Donald H. Rumsfeld reveals in his new book that he urged a U.S. military strike on a suspected chemical weapons site in northern Iraq in 2003, and that he wanted the attack timed to coincide with Colin Powell’s address to the U.N. Security Council making the case for war. In his memoir, “Known and Unknown,” Rumsfeld wrote that the Joint Chiefs supported a strike, based on what Rumsfeld called extensive but not conclusive CIA evidence that the site housed an underground facility for testing chemical weapons.
