Ok, don’t laugh at me but – my twelve-year-old just taught me how to do a screen grab. Which means – I now have this tool to help with a project I’ve been dying to try!! I’d like to start sharing what I consider defining sartorial moments from great films. I have always loved this scene from the Fred Astaire movie, The Gay Divorcee . That buckled leather strap in his lapel is fascinating. I’ve never seen a modern version of this…have you? I’m guessing it’s attached to a chained pocketwatch. Can someone please make a modern version of this??!! To me, this moment is one of the all-time greats of men’s fashion on film.
