Hundreds of thousands, perhaps a million people gathered at the Tahrir Square on Tuesday, chanting insults to a leader they lived in fear of for much of the past 30 years. Tuesday attracted the largest and the most diverse crowd of a week of demonstrations, men and women, young and old, workers and unemployed, all camped in the heart of the city demanding the ouster of Husni Mubarak.
