Challenger explosion , challenger space shuttle : 24 years from today, Space Shuttle Challenger exploded while lift off!

It was 24 years from this very day (January 28, 1986) when the Space Shuttle Challenger was unsuccessfully launched by NASA which resulted in a catastrophic explosion just after 73 seconds from lift off. As the shuttle broke into pieces, all of its seven crew members lost their lives.
