The Wall Street Journal covers the big NAHB International Builders Show and looks at the future of housing for Generation Y , the twenty-somethings. Not surprisingly, they want to walk and cycle to work, want to live in urban settings and don’t want McMansions. It is pretty silly; it was ever thus. Young people almost always want to live near the pubs and the restaurants and their friends, and don’t have a lot of money for cars and parking. But what happens when they get older?
