Plane Crash in Iran Kills 71, 35 Survive
An IranAir passenger jet carrying 106 people crashed as it was making an emergency landing in a snowstorm in northwest Iran, killing 71 of those on board, Iranian media reported. There were 35 survivors. (Jan. 9)
