Trending: Not so fast there
A kid hit by a car while coming home from school last week was being chalked up to the student running out ahead of the crossing guard at the crest of the hill at 18th and Cason streets. The child escaped serious injuries, police said, but it’s a good reminder to slow down in school zones – especially during the black mornings between now and the end of daylight-saving time on Nov. 6.
