With the murder conviction of 24-year-old Amanda Knox overturned, the man who prosecuted her finds himself under increased scrutiny. The New York Daily News reports that Giuliano Mignini’s actions were a big reason for Knox’s acquittal and were “unprofessional” and “bordering on the criminal” according to observers. Mignini has vowed to appeal the court’s decision in the Knox case.
