Texas Governor: Fires Have Destroyed 1000 Homes

Texas Governor Rick Perry says wildfires have consumed more than 1000 homes, with scores of Texans living in shelters or with complete strangers. He says people should avoid any outdoor activities that could spark a blaze. (Sept. 6)
