Hurricane Ctr.: Irene Weakens, Still Dangerous
Ed Rappaport, deputy director of the National Hurricane Center says Hurricane Irene has weakened a bit with maximum winds now at 100mph. But he stresses that because it’s so large it will wreak havoc for a long period of time. (Aug. 26)
