Markets: Asia Slumps, Europe Climbs, Brent Drops

World stock markets were mixed ahead of Wall Street’s open Monday. Asia slid on recession fears but Europe climbed on hopes of Federal Reserve action. Brent crude dropped as Libyan rebels appeared to taking full control of their country. (Aug. 22)
