China Blocks Visit to Nobel Laureate’s Wife
A furious China Monday blocked a diplomat’s visit to the wife of the Nobel peace prize winner. Liu Xia said on Twitter she’s been under house arrest with her phone cut off since Liu Xiabo’s award was announced. (Oct. 11)
