Siege on Hama, Syria Brings Gunfire, Tanks
The Syrian military continues its siege of Hama. A resident in the city say tanks shelled residential neighborhoods around dawn. The six-day-old assault has killed at least 100 people. Electricity, internet and phone services have been cut. (Aug. 5)
