Mortgage rates are trending higher, Freddie Mac says

The 30-year fixed-rate home loan stood at an average of 4.6% this week, up from 4.51% a week earlier, according to Freddie Mac’s survey. Mortgage rates moved higher this week after spending a month within a hair or two of 4.5%, according to the latest survey from home loan financing giant Freddie Mac.
