Iowans Hope New Levee Holds Back Missouri River
Crews in Hamburg, Iowa, are continuing to bolster a temporary levee as Missouri River floodwaters roll toward the town. Should the new levee fail, parts of Hamburg could be submerged under as much as 10 feet of water within days. (June 15)
