Photos emerged on Sunday of ash in the aftermath of Saturday’s eruption at Puyehue volcano in Chile, as well as a stunning lightning display. The volcano sent a huge plume of smoke and ash into the sky on Saturday, causing the evacuation of approximately 600 people living nearby, the Associated Press reports. The eruption caused a portion of the Chile-Argentina border to be closed. No deaths or injuries have been reported at this time. See photos below and watch video of lightning at the volcano here.
