Cam Newton Goes First to Panthers in NFL Draft

Auburn quarterback Cam Newton was the first pick of the 2011 NFL draft, going to the Carolina Panthers. Denver used the second pick on Texas A&M linebacker Von Miller and Buffalo chose Alabama DT Marcell Dareus third. (April 28)
