BYU’s Fredette, Notre Dame’s Brey Get AP Awards

He led the nation in scoring, was nearly a unanimous choice as an AP All-America, and on Friday BYU guard Jimmer Fredette was named The Associated Press’ player of the year. Notre Dame’s Mike Brey was named AP’s coach of the year. (April 1)
